5 WAYS TO TREAT SFI LIKE A BUSINESS, NOT JUST A HOBBY, business vs hobby

5 Ways To Treat SFI Like A Business, Not Just A Hobby

How to Succeed With SFI

You CAN succeed with SFI. However, you have to treat SFI like a business. Here are 5 steps to take to do that and ensure your success.

1. Commit!

The first step in becoming successful at anything is by making the unwavering decision that you will be successful and commit to that goal.

Look at anybody who is at the top of their game – Olympic athletes, billionaire entrepreneurs, Oscar-winning actors – did they get there by accident, by chopping and choosing a different thing to do every five minutes? No, they committed to their project, and worked and practised hard, long before they became successful, often with little or no financial reward in the beginning.

Productivity is never an accident. It is always the result of a commitment to excellence, intelligent planning, and focused effort. – Paul J. Meyer

With the desire and commitment to succeed, and consistent effort, you can succeed at anything, and SFI is no exception. It gives you all the tools you need, with all the training and support you need. It is only up to you how committed you are to using it.

2. Show Up at the Office Every Day!

Does any business succeed if the boss never shows up? Does a store survive if the doors are closed? Of course not!

A self-employed person has to turn up for work, regularly and on time, or they will lose earnings, and the customer will not re-engage them.

An effective leader is turning up at the office every day, to guide and motivate their team.

If you turn up to a shop one day, and it’s closed when you expect it to be open, will you return there next time you want to shop, or will you go elsewhere to shop?

In essence, if we want to direct our lives, we must take control of our consistent actions. It’s not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives, but what we do consistently. – Tony Robbins

With the encouragement of the SFI Daily, Weekly & Monthly Actions, and much more besides, SFI rewards you for showing up at your office every day, giving you free VPs as well as growing earnings. Plus, the badges you earn show you to be an experienced, disciplined and committed Team Leader.

3. Invest!

There is not a successful business or individual person anywhere in the world that has not invested, in their business or in themselves. Investment is of two main forms: time and money. Successful people invest with both.

Time

Time is invested in education and learning, in practising, in personal self-development, in activities which contribute to the business and to the person. An entrepreneur doesn’t only do the minimum they can, they do whatever it takes to be successful.

When you invest your time, you make a goal and a decision of something that you want to accomplish. – Nick Saban

In SFI it is possible to do your Daily Tasks in only 20 minutes, but will this make you successful? In isolation, No.

There is so much more to SFI, so much more you can get from it. However, you must take advantage of all the training and information available to you. Consider it the most up-to-date, relevant and valuable college course you can ever study about building an online work-from-home business.

Time is a precious commodity these days, but so is freedom. Are you willing to invest at least 1 hour of your time now, in order to achieve financial freedom in the future?

Money

There are very few businesses that can say they started up with no financial investment at all, in fact the lack of financial investment or backing is often the #1 reason why a business will fail or never get off the ground in the beginning.

If you want to build a business, any business, in order to achieve financial freedom, some investment is essential.

Well, I think that there’s a very thin dividing line between success and failure. And I think if you start a business without financial backing, you’re likely to go the wrong side of that dividing line. – Richard Branson

While SFI gives you an immense amount of value for FREE, you can also choose to invest, and I know from my experience that can be a wise decision. For example, you may not be experienced in, or you may be having difficulty with, recruiting team members. Well, SFI has much more experience in this, so you can tap into their experience and let them find your team for you, which you can invest in. Building a business is not always about doing-it-yourself. The most successful entrepreneurs outsource many aspects of their business to people who are better at that element than they are.

And when you consider that many businesses cost $1,000s to start up and maintain before making profits – I can confirm this as I have had a bricks-and-mortar business in the past that ran successfully for several years, but took a LOT of investment before becoming profitable in the third year – then the ability to start your own successful business with only around One Dollar A Day, (around the cost of a cup of coffee) with SFI is a very cost-effective option.

4. Look after your People

Team-building is important in almost any business, but probably few more so than in network marketing. In network marketing, you must remember that your team are not your employees, but your business partners, and it is your working together that produces the greatest benefits for ALL, not just one.

When you encourage others, you in the process are encouraged because you’re making a commitment and difference in that person’s life. Encouragement really does make a difference. – Zig Ziglar

As you recruit your downline, it is vital that you give them a warm welcome, clear guidance on how to get started and how to find their way around the system, and that you always address their queries in a friendly, yet professional manner.

Communication is key! Everybody in SFI has varying experience, knowledge and skills. Given effective communication, everybody can help each other achieve success.

Connect with other affiliates through the forum and a2a, and encourage your team to do the same. It is not always about giving your downline the answer, but about showing them how they can find the information they need, at any time, by doing a simple search of SFI’s extensive library of resources. Remember: give a man a fish and he’ll eat for a day, teach him how to fish and he eats for a lifetime.

Help your team to succeed, and this will naturally lead to your own success.

You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want. – Zig Ziglar

5. Look at the Long-Term

“Rome wasn’t built in a day” they say, and the same is true of any successful business.

Does a surgeon attend medical school for only a week, then say “This is a waste of time, I can’t perform surgery yet?” No. They invest time and money for several years before they can reap the rewards of their highly developed skill.

ALL successful entrepreneurs, people and businesses take a long-term view, which drives them forward to achieving their goals. They look to say, 5 years, and have a vision of where they want to be, then they break this down into mid-term goals of say 1-2 years, and further to short-term goals of 3-6 months.

Much of what happens in the short-term is planning, learning, laying the foundations. There is usually little focus given to actual financial gain, and if they do earn, those earnings are often re-invested in order to achieve the longer-term goals.

My own view is that every company requires a long-term view. – Jeff Bezos, creator of Amazon

When I found SFI, I had been looking for ways to make money online for some time, on and off for several years. I joined some programs, they gave me referral links to use, but I just didn’t know what to do with them. I did not understand how online marketing worked. And I never made a penny!

However, SFI got me started immediately with learning these skills, their FREE training is second-to-none! It was the first program that I did actually earn some money on, only a little in my first month, but this was enough to whet my appetite and realise that THIS program worked!

I realised that all these schemes that promise huge earnings did not offer what SFI did – the comprehensive training and support. SFI does not promise to make you a millionaire overnight, and if you believe that any program will do that, then you are fooling yourself and will believe that online marketing as a whole is a scam. It isn’t – you just don’t have the skills to do it yet, you haven’t laid the foundations. You haven’t considered what is necessary to achieve your long-term goals. However, SFI will help you to do that.

The moment I forgot all about earning, and focused on learning, is the moment it all turned around, and earnings have increased month on month since then. These skills are essential to you, whatever online business you want to create. SFI teaches you it all, so you have no need to start elsewhere.

You can’t build a house if you don’t lay the foundations!
